The brief preview suggested a departure from Hawkins, Indiana, but Upside Down was still very present. Now, thanks to the Strangers Things Day celebration on November 6 (Shoppers has recently disappeared in the first season of the Netflix series), we know what the title of the premiere episode of Stranger Things Season 4 will be.
Season four of Stranger Things is called “Chapter One: The Hellfire Club”. This title can have many meanings. What does it actually refer to? In fact, it can refer to many things at once.
The Hellfire Club, as described in the history books, refers to a number of elite clubs established by upper-class citizens in Britain and Ireland in the 18th century. They were asked to find a place for “quality people” who would like to participate in some non-specific “immoral actions”. Members of these clubs were often involved in politics as well. These clubs are not very different from the somber behavior of serious millionaires.

This reference may not seem very important in the great scheme of weird things, but the first episode can easily introduce us to a group of wealthy individuals taking the formulas behind the exploration and experiments associated with Upside Down. Someone will have to finance these secret projects, and maybe we will find them in the end. On a similar note, The Hellfire Club refers to a mutant society in Marvel Comics, known as the X-Men, along with the Super Men team.
In that plot, telekinetic mutant Jean Gray is an astronomical soul known as the Phoenix Force, who makes him a villain. Could this be a possible sign that once this season could turn into a dark side?
We can wait a long time before watching the fourth season of Stranger Things because production won’t happen until 2020. We can’t see any more strange things until 2021, depending on how long postproduction takes. So we just have to be patient and stay tuned for more information.
