Matt Reeves, starring Robert Pattinson, hits theaters in 2021.

The Mega Man film will be the latest in a long Capcom game-to-movie adaptation. The Street Fighter movie was released in 1994 with Jean-Claude Van Damme and Raul Julia. While critics screamed for the film when it was released, it is now an ironic cultural classic. Produced the live-action movie Resident Evil in 2002. Although critics also criticized it, it had moderate success with five sequels. Resident Evil’s latest film, Welcome to Raccoon City, takes place on a resume sequel and was hailed initially as a more faithful adaptation of the games to the original film series. It was released in November 2021 with mixed reviews.
