In a video posted on Twitter by Still Watching Netflix, Holland said, “You know, I have a pair of teens in my home who have friends watching cartoons. When I got the job, I said, ‘I know some of you? ko bebop? “And they said, ‘What? Bebop ko? Yes, yes. “They knew about anime, and I said, ‘No, no, no, we’re doing live-action.’ And they said, ‘Ah, what? And then they just said, “Don’t scream like that.” ”

“I really want these teens to say, ‘No, you did not bother them,'” Holland said.

The original bebop cowboy is one of the most popular anime of the last two decades. Although only one season, its 26 episodes have gained cultural status over the years, not only inspiring a live-action adaptation of Netflix but also several sci-fi video games and animated films called Cowboy Bebop: Knockin ‘on Heaven’s Door.

The Netflix version of the cultural classic was only aired in eight episodes. One of its leading actors, John Cho, called it a piece of slave fan fiction. The adaptation sought to translate the original soul’s unique aesthetic into live-action, with Netflix introducing darker overtones to certain aspects of the story, such as the background story of Spike and Vicious and the hypersensitive dog found in bebop.

The series also features famous characters such as Radical Edward. The Ed Eden Perkins actress shared her experience as a talented teenage actress and shared: “And she’s an amazing character. She’s so vibrant and energetic everywhere she goes. If you look at the scenes, like everyone in Ed’s anime, she’s so cool., she’s a great character and I really know her and it was just as exciting to perform as her. in his head and starts screaming .. ”

The first live-action bebop cowboy is streamed on Netflix, which means reviews are on their way. Although the studies were initially relatively positive, the series received largely negative feedback from critics, who suggested that the adaptation worked well. Not to recreate what has existed for the past 23 years.
