2021 has been a hectic and exciting year for anime on Netflix; however, the future of anime is evenly exciting thanks to all of the announced projects coming soon. 2022 is developing into another exciting year as long-anticipated anime will finally be coming to Netflix.
Ultraman (Season 2)
It has been a much longer wait to learn what the future held for Ultraman on Netflix. But, we soon know that Japan’s greatest Tokusatsu warrior is returning in Spring 2022.
In the coming season of Ultraman, Shinjoro will team up with his fellow Ultramen allies and fight the ensuing threat from the stars.

Ghost in the Shell: (Season 2)
Ghost in the Shell is one of the most famous anime franchises; however, the difference from traditional animation to CGI split views amongst the anime community.

Army of the Dead: (Season 1)
One of the greatest releases on Netflix in 2021 is Army of the Dead. With its release, a newly developed universe for producer Zack Snyder began.
They will take place during the fall of Las Vegas as Scott Ward, and his team of mercenaries decides to remove civilians from the zombie-infested city.
Many of the cast members from the movie will be returning to reprise their roles, including Dave Bautista and Ella Purnell. We’ll also see the introduction of Joe Manganiello in the franchise, who will lead the series as the voice of Rose.

2021 saw Mami Tsumura’s manga, and 2022 will see the long-expected anime adaptation.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners (Season 1)
The release of Cyberpunk has drowned in controversy thankfulness to the number of imperfections and glitches within the game, Which unhappily left a sour taste in many gamers’ mouths. Given the unbelievable art style of Studio Trigger and the world of Cyberpunk to play with, we are expecting great things.
A Street Kid is trying to survive in the body and technology modification-obsessed city of the future. Should everything fall, he wants to stay alive by becoming an Edgerunner, a Mercenary criminal known as a Cyberpunk.
Blood of Zeus (Season 2)
Blood of Zeus will not only return for season 2 but it has already been confirmed that the anime will also receive a third season on Netflix.
At the beginning of the world, the gods of Olympus, led by Zeus, defeated the Titans. After their victory, the last Titan abused the gods and unleashed the giants on the world. Many years later, an army from the East, using the essence of the fallen giants as fuel for its military, fell upon Greece. On the outskirts of Greece, an ordinary man, Heron, learns that he is the son of Zeus and that his destiny is to save the world.
Spriggan (Season 1)
The movie conversion of the Spriggan manga was released over twenty years ago. Finally, we are getting an anime series adaptation. We earlier expected Spriggan to land on Netflix in 2021, so expect an early 2022 release.
An old civilization once ruled the Earth but ultimately destroyed itself many years ago. Giving messages to future generations to find, they detail how to use the most important creations they used.
Various cells start to search for mysterious artifacts to use them against their enemies. Standing in their way are the ARCAM Corporation and their elite group of soldiers known as Spriggans.
Thermae Romae Novae (Season 1)
Thermae Romae Novae was declared a long time ago. We expected the anime to land on Netflix in 2021. However, the anime will not be available for streaming until 2022. The wait will be worth it, and we expect it to make many subscribers laugh.
Roman architect Lucius has a problem but discovers an ancient tunnel that leads to a modern Japanese bathroom. Motivated by what he has seen, Lucius opens his spa and calls it Roma Thermae.

Winner of Shonen Jump+’s “Million Tag” competition, author Naoki Fujita’s breakout manga serialization is adapted into an anime for Netflix. Very little else is known about the adaptation, but we can’t wait to learn more soon.
Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix (Season 1)
Netflix is fast becoming no stranger to adapting works of others into anime series. The Far Cry franchise is receiving the subsequent anime adaptation, centered around Dolf Lazerhawk, a cyborg super soldier in a world of synth-wave dystopia full of corporate control and oppression.
