Without any confusion now, Nicki Minaj can finally refer to Kenneth ”Zoo” Petty as her husband.
Nicki Minaj is officially a wife. She hit Instagram with the news on October 21st, 2019 along with a video of caps with ” bride” and ”groom” monogrammed on the front and with the caption of the date with emojis.
All Nicki’s fans Twitted to shower the Queen of Rap with praise. They were so happy seeing her getting married finally.
In August, during an episode of her Queen Radio Shoe, Nicki had declared that she has filed for a marriage license and would be married in about 80 days.
Nicki and Kenneth were dating since 2018 and made their relationship official by uploading a picture on Instagram back in December. In March, Nicki had struck questions about whether she had married Kenneth after calling him her husband on her radio show.
Nicki was sure they would tie the knot in March, just four months into their romance when she started referring to him as a husband. In December she wrote on Instagram,
” he wants to be his wife- his MISSIS like SIPPI now. ”
Nicki and Kenneth first started dating when Nicki was only 16 and living in Queens, and And Kenneth would be 21 at that time.
Kenneth also has a first-degree manslaughter conviction in 2006 in the fatal 2002 shooting of a man, which was served seven years of a 10-year sentence. He was released from custody in 2013.
Minaj announced by a tweet of her retiring from music. She also said the network that she and Petty are very close friends as they know each other since they were kids.
