When her entire life crumbles, Amy decides to run against snotty PTA president Gwendolyn. In the procedure, she befriends a drained stay-at-home mother with four children Kiki, and mother Carla, whose laid parenting fashion verges on straight-up neglect.

The three form an unlikely bond and decide to have some fun while they take down mum Gwendolyn and of the unachievable motherhood expectations she stands for.

Being a mum is hard, your spouse is useless, especially when you’re overworked, underpaid and you are constantly judged by the other mums.

That is a comedy by The Hangover Bad Moms’ premise and 21 & Over duo Jon Lucas and Scott Moore.

The movie follows mum-of-two Amy because she juggles a full-time job (that’s supposed to be part-time), caring for her children, including her husband, and being involved in their college’s sect-like PTA.

Being a mother is difficult, especially when you are overworked, underpaid, your better half is useless, and the other mothers constantly judge you. That is essentially the premise of Bad Moms, a comedy by The Hangover and 21 & Over duo Jon Lucas and Scott Moore.

What are Bad Moms about?

The movie follows mum-of-two Amy as she has problems and manages full-time work (that is expected to be part-time), taking care of her children, involving her husband, and being included with their school’s sect-like PTA.

When her life comes down, Amy decides to run through snotty PTA president Gwendolyn. In the process, she stops being friends Kiki, an exhausted stay-at-home mother with four children, and single mother Carla, whose laid-back parenting style verges on straight-up ignorance.

The three combine an unlikely bond and think to have some fun while they put down seemingly perfect mother Gwendolyn and all the inquired motherhood expectations she remains.

How can I watch Bad Moms?

Bad Moms is supplied to stream on Netflix UK. You can also get it on Amazon Prime.

Is there a Bad Moms 2?

A sequel named A Bad Moms Christmas was launched in 2017 and is also present to stream on Netflix and rent on Amazon Prime.

The cast of Bad Moms

Mila Kunis casts as Amy, Kristen Bell (The Good Place, Veronica Mars) acts as Kiki, and Kathryn Hahn (Step Brothers, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse) acts as Carla.

You will love to unlike Dead to Me star Christina Applegate as Gwendolyn and Jada Pinkett Smith and Annie Mumolo as her minions.

New Girl’s David Walton plays Amy’s man-child spouse while Jay Hernandez, who acts as Diablo in Suicide Squad, is “hot widower” Jessie. Also the original cast, the series has Susan Sarandon, Christine Baranski, and Cheryl Hines as the mother’s mothers.
