Patty Jenkins shared the first official poster of Wonder Woman 2. Producer Charles Roven said in an interview that Wonder Woman 1984 is not a follow-up. The air date of Wonder Woman 1984 has been set back to 2020.
In an interview that Wonder Woman 1984’s director, Patty Jenkins, was said: “determined that this movie should be the next iteration of Wonder Woman but not a sequel”. Charles Roven said that “it would not be a direct sequel to its predecessor”.
New cast:
Warner Bros has announced that Gal Gadot will be back to play the titular superhero in the next movie. Screen Rant is also reporting that Chris Pine will be back, which was also being confirmed by Warner Bros. The role of Screen Rant is suspense, and everyone needs to wait till the movie end.
Cheetah will play the new villain and was confirmed on March 9 in a tweet. Jenkins, the director, twitted: “So excited to confirm the most thrilling news. Yes! It’s true. So incredibly lucky to welcome the sensationally talented Kristen Wiig to our Wonder Woman family. Can’t wait to work with one of my favorites finally. And SO excited by what we have planned.”
Pedro Pascal is also playing a role in the film, as “Maxwell Lord” an influential character in the Justice League’s formation.
Warner Bros has released two posters from the movie Wonder Woman II, which including an image that shows the return of Steve Trevor, and another of Diana Prince. Gal Gadot and Patty Jenkins have also shared those pictures on Twitter.
