The Power of the Dog release date, Plot, cast, and all we know

The Power of the Dog is a new film released in December and tells the story of breeder Phil Burbank, whose life changes when his brother brings a young woman and a child home.

The film depends on Thomas Savage’s novel of the same name from 1967.

Directed by Jane Campion, The Power of the Dog focuses on toxic masculinity, power, and wealth. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he said: “Cowboys are considered a natural life, an easy life. However, Burbanks had one of the wealthiest ranches in Montana.

“They have a lot of power, and I think power is still the real problem. It also shows women when they have power and how they use it. Power still exists. Money is often power.”
