Red Notices Dwayne Johnson introduced his custom van to lucky fans at a special screening of the film.
Johnson recently invited a select group of fans to a free screening of the Netflix Red Notice in California. Johnson not only offered all of the attendees free concessions and other free items but decided to pick one person – Navy veteran Oscar Rodriguez – for a special surprise. Johnson has posted a series of photos and videos showing the moments that brought Rodriguez to grab the truck and his bad reaction to the act of kindness.
In the video, Johnson comes to the show to chew and cheer the fans. So call Rodriguez in front of the theater and talk to the audience to cultivate Rodriguez’s character. “I was really touched by your story,” Johnson says in the video. “You’re a leader in your church … supporting and helping to prepare meals for women who are victims of domestic violence – it’s a great job.” Johnson then drives Rodriguez to the parking lot where the truck is waiting. When Rodriguez realizes he is being offered the car, he falls into a problematic situation before hugging Johnson and bursting into tears.
Johnson’s Instagram post praised Rodriguez for being kind and thoughtful to his community. “I always say that it is important to be important, but more important to be kind. wrote Johnson. “I love little things like this. Most importantly, I have the global platform to educate good, strong, and grateful people like Oscar. The way we do it. It has not always been possible to spend more.”
Johnson has made a name for himself as one of Hollywood’s most charitable stars. Last year, it partnered with Microsoft to bring new Xbox consoles and other devices to 20 different children’s hospitals. In 2006, he founded the Dwayne Johnson Rock Foundation, which helps children with disabilities build their self-esteem. The foundation provides nutrition and sports to vulnerable children. This month, it was revealed that Johnson personally paid his stunt salary twice to Tanoai Reed of the Gridiron Gang in the mid-2000s. “[Johnson] told me, ‘You’re more than that. A double hit You’re like family,’ Reed said.
When Johnson does not surprise his fans on Hollywood bus tours, he shoots blockbusters like DC Extended Universes Black Adam (expected July 2022) and Disney’s Jungle Cruise sequel with co-star Emily Blunt. Red Notice, starring Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot, can now be streamed on Netflix.
He deserves a lot more than my personal truck.
