Sideshow Collectibles has unveiled an impressive collector’s figure of the only Prince on a motorcycle in all the glory of Purple Rain on Netflix.
1/6 Tribute Statue is currently included on the Sideshow page as a limited edition with an undefined production line. It is 10.5 “high, 17.5” vast, 12.5 “deep, and shows the Purple One in the Purple Rain drama rock film in 1984.
The long purple jacket with metallic details on the shoulders, a white blouse with ruffles, and long Lederhose with The High Vita All the details are generously reproduced; she even has a pair of delicate white lace gloves on her hands, from buckles to high heels, everything is seen in the smallest detail.
The bag on the purple motorcycle, adorned with the artist’s signature emblem, is taken directly from the film’s advertising poster. The drama focuses on the Prince The Kid character and the Minneapolis band The Revolution.
The child has a difficult family life with a violent father who has wasted his talent. Although there are many ups and downs, the power of music helps the child overcome his demons and thrive.
The film was a huge commercial success. With the talent of Prince and his co-stars Morris Day and Apollonia Kotero, he earned over $ 70 million on a budget of just over $ 7 million.
The accompanying soundtrack was also a huge success, selling over 25 million copies worldwide and featuring timeless classics such as “Let’s Go Crazy,” “When Doves Cry,” and of course the title track “Purple Rain.” Critically, it was not that good, but it was recently listed in the Library of Congress in 2019 as “culturally, historically, or aesthetically important.”
Minneapolis’s son himself, Prince himself, defended the city all his life and even built the legendary Paisley Park home/recording studio right outside his door. Here he died of an overdose in April 2016, just 57 years old.
In addition to the film that marked his acting debut, he was an extremely productive musician with nearly 40 albums and a treasure trove full of unreleased tracks. In addition to his many hits, he has also written many songs under a pseudonym or made himself known through other contemporary artists such as The Bangles.
The impressive tribute to the influential artist on his horse is currently available for a complete $ 795 on Sideshow and is expected to be sent to his loyal fans this winter.
