Netflix will hold “Netflix Festival Japan 2021” for two days from Tuesday, November 9 to Wednesday, November 10, 2021, and in addition to announcing new releases, talented creators from Japan and abroad related to Netflix works, and the most talented actors and voice actors representing Japan gather. We are pleased to introduce Netflix members to a diverse lineup of anime and live-action works. Today, the event’s timetable was released, detailing the gorgeous guests and special stages. The event will be broadcast live on YouTube and can be watched with simultaneous Interpretation in English (some subtitles supported).
Anime Day on the first day of the event will introduce “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Stone Ocean” and other notable works in the future at once! Kenjiro Tsuda, Rilakkuma appeared, Koichi Yamadera also appeared in the video!
On Tuesday, November 9, Netflix Co-CEO and Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos (video appearance) and Netflix Content Vice President Kazutaka Sakamoto took the stage. Next, as the opening of Anime Day, we will deliver a special stage from “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Stone Ocean” which will be released exclusively worldwide from December 2021! In the anime lineup introduction part, special guest Mari Iide appears, and the latest work of Neto fri anime is introduced at once with moderator Naoki Yoshida! From “Aggressive Retsuko”, which is scheduled to be distributed this winter, “ULTRAMAN”, “Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045”, “Doomsday Valkyrie” “Rilakkuma and Amusement Park”, as well as works that you want to enjoy in 2022 from series works such as “Spriggan”, “Thermae Romae Novae” and “Drifting Housing Complex Announcing rain”, new releases and art We will deliver the latest information in mega-piling, such as PV lifting. Koichi Yamadera will also appear in the comment video from the popular “Cowboy Bebop” by making the original anime live-action! Live Action Day on the second day features gorgeous guests from japan and overseas’s featured works!
On Wednesday, November 10, 2019, we will introduce a message video from the cast of an overseas topical film, starting with a special video by Dwayne Johnson and Director Lawson Marshall Server from the popular overseas action blockbuster “Red Notice”. And from the Netflix movies “We Couldn’t All Grow Up” and “Asakusa Kid”, which will be released from November 2021 onwards, and the Netflix series “Newspaper Reporter”, “Goldfish Wife”, “Himayama Kentaro’s Pregnancy”, Netflix movie “My Lover Like Cherry Blossoms”, will take the stage and talk session to talk about the charm of each work.
