All original Netflix series have been canceled in 2021

Netflix cancellations are always hard to come by, and by 2021 there were plenty of them. Below we will guide you through significant Netflix Original cancellations, including Zero, Zero Chill, Dash & Lily, and the recently canceled Israeli Hit & Run series.

Suppose you want to see all the significant cancellations by 2021. In that case, we have a cancellation book showing most Netflix cancellations between 2013 and 2020.

We will make a significant distinction below is when shows are canceled and blocked. Others renewed for the last few seasons, allowing them to have a specific ending. Although it can be argued that the result is the same, we will continue to classify them separately.

We should also consider Netflix’s ghost cancellations. We have documented them in the past, where the show disappears from the radar without noticing its future. Presentations in this category include Cursed Season 2, Letter for the King season 2, The Innocents season 2, and countless others.

Complete list of Netflix shows canceled for 2021

Zero Chill

Zero Chill was created by Kirstie Falkous and John Regier and proved to be short-lived as it did not have enough influence to be renewed for another season.

Dash & Lily

Produced by Shawn Levy, this is his second significant rejection of Netflix after I’m Not Okay With This. The Christmas series adapts the book of the same name and has certainly been prepared for another season. Still, unfortunately, that is not the case.

Was he a victim of COVID? After all, we have heard that another season is underway. Still, after a disturbing update this summer, Netflix was officially taken offline in October 2021, which means we do not have a new season.

zero

Unfortunately, the Italian superhero series broke the mold after just one season, despite relatively positive reviews from the region it came from. Still, he failed to make the top 10 of Italian television for 30 days.

Hit and run

The big new show from the creators of Fauda arrived on Netflix this summer and was canceled shortly after its release as Hit & Run.

Grand Army

The teen drama series, which premiered on Netflix in October 2020, saw five students from a large elementary school in Brooklyn compete for success.

Cursed

Although we suspected it had long since been canceled (we wrote that the accessory had been sold in April 2021), Cursed did not officially receive the assistance until July 2021.

While the reviews were mixed at the start of the series, a unique fan base has built up, but that was unfortunately not enough to justify Katherine Langford’s return to another season.

Emily’s Wonder Lab

Unfortunately, we have only learned that Emily’s Wonder Lab, hosted by MIT engineer Emily Calandrelli, will not be returning for another season.

The live teaching series for children was first shown in August 2020.

Bonding

Bonding’s first season won gold and was quickly renewed for another season. Season 2, on the other hand, fell to Netflix with almost zero fanfare, leading to the series hitting the box in mid-2021.

While the author is working with Netflix on future projects, it’s a shame that this show came out with little effort.

The Crew

The Crew continues the multi-camera live comedy version for Netflix, and The Crew retires after just one season. Some cast members had said the show had been canceled before the official confirmation in early July 2021.

In Austria and Germany, however, the show went a little better.

Mr. Iglesias

Mr. Iglesias is another sitcom that took its own life on Netflix.

Three parties in two seasons hit Netflix, but the first ten short-lived appearances indicate that the show’s audience was relatively small.

Country Comfort

It was released on Netflix in March 2021 and is made for the sitcom series that follows an aspiring country singer who gets a nanny job.

You will see a trend for subsequent stocks based on the number of days in the top 10.

Dad, Stop Embarrassing Me!

We recorded how Netflix has been fighting for a while in the form of a comedy series with a lot of cameras, and Dad stops bothering me! Perhaps it illustrates the problems the format faces on Netflix.

The show is built around the talented Jamie Foxx, but beyond that, he struggles to figure out precisely what he is or who he is for.

#blackAF

Although Netflix was initially renewed for an entire second season, it reportedly overturned its decision in June 2021 but has not ruled out a return of the series to theaters in the future.

It comes as Kenya Baris slowly pulls out of its Netflix commitments (though there are still plenty of plans to wait).

Grand Army

Teenage dramas usually run on Netflix many times, but that did not happen with the Grand Army, canceled eight months after the first case.

There are also reports of riots behind the scenes and with writers leaving the show “for exploitation and racial abuse.”

Jupiter’s Legacy

Millarworld’s excellent first feature on Netflix was canceled due to a series of issues after a rather difficult first entry. Although the cancellation of Jupiter’s Legacy was not exactly announced as a cancellation, it does not return for season 2.

There are many other Millarworld titles for Netflix, though it’s hard to beat the Fa to fight.

La Révolution

One giant prototype of Netflix shows from France is the dramatic action series The Revolution, which unfortunately did not justify another season.

Monarca

The creators of this Mexican-Spanish series announced on Instagram that Netflix has decided not to renew Monarca for a third season, and it appears they have not been officially notified of the cancellation but have drawn their conclusions.

The Duchess

The cancellation was announced in a podcast where the lead role in this British comedy revealed that the Duchess would not return for another season on Netflix.

Katherine Ryan revealed how many people watched the show, and she said it had about 10 million viewers. Assume this is a 2-minute goal.

The Irregulars

After just one season, The Irregulars aired on Netflix’s doorstep, despite generally positive reviews, and were considered part of Netflix’s major invasion of the Sherlock Holmes universe.

The series reportedly won a hit Marvel show in Nielsen’s top 10 in the US, but even that was not enough to continue.

The Idhun Chronicles

The creator of the Spanish animated series has tacitly announced to fans of The Idhun Chronicles on Twitter that the series will not return in the coming seasons.
