One Direction’s reunion can be suspended for at least two years.
Liam Payne ruined the hopes of 1D fans to see the band reunited by revealing his intention to go on television.
“My album will be released at the end of the year and I’m going on tour in 2019,” he told the Star.
And there are rumors that the much sought-after singer has signed up for a big show of American talent.
“I enjoy making TV, and I enjoy making music, I want to do both!” he admitted.
“I’ve always wanted to make music, it’s just that I’ve had so many opportunities that have come my way and I thought it was a great time to spread my wings and experience different types of entertainment.
“It’s amazing that we’re doing our own thing and then hopefully we’ll get back together soon and have another great time, who knows?”
Last month, Liam broke the hearts of One Direction fans in a million songs when he performed during Radio 1’s biggest weekend.
Payne took the stage in Swansea and embarked on a “mini One Direction meeting” and there was no dry eye in the house.
He sang History as a video of One Direction played on the big screen in the background.
Last month, he hinted that the One Direction guys are definitely going to get together and revealed that the boys have talked about a reunion and that they have a “dream” for a “most fantastic show.”.
However, it is unclear whether this meeting would include Zayn Malik, who left the group in 2015.
Liam said in an interview: “We’ve all talked about it, the dream of this most fantastic show.
“I think it will happen at some point.”
