We all know Tom Hanks is a kind, smiling guy who fell in love with the role of sensitive Walt Disney, Forest Gump, or brave cowboy Woody.
However, he recently had to switch from a defense actor when a group of very stunned fans approached his wife, Rita Wilson. Last night in New York, the Oscar-winning artist was furious when they nearly kicked his lover off her feet.
“Stop acting like this! Back off and get out! You hit my wife!” Hanks, 65, shouted as the pair ran away in a waiting car.
One fan couldn’t contain his emotions and apologized for the actions of everyone present. As we know, Tom took a press tour a few weeks ago to promote the Elvis movie directed by Baz Luhrmann.
Hanks left the company this month in Brisbane, Australia on time to replace lead actor Austin Butler.
Remember that with his current wife, Tom is proud of a happy family life of 34 years. At the time of meeting Rita in 1981, Hanks was still married to his first wife, college sweetheart Samantha Lewis, with whom he had two children, son to actor Colin Hanks and daughter to Elizabeth Hanks.
Soon, Tom and Wilson had two sons: actor and rapper Chet Hanks and Truman Hanks. Chet struggled with addiction for many years, but the most recent was nine months of sobriety.
Despite his father’s impeccable reputation, in February, the man admitted that he did not have a strong male model as a child. I wonder if the father and son relationship will change for the better after the star’s last skirmish with fans?
In a previous post, Tom Hanks’ son talked about his childhood. The responsive or on-screen Forrest Gump Walt Disney evokes the warmest memories of the world of cinema, but it seems that actor Tom Hanks’ relatives didn’t feel the brightest of emotions.
