XO, Kitty what we need to know about the Netflix spin-off To All the Boys.

Netflix is ​​doubling the expansion of its existing IPs. Next to getting a bigger world is the To All the Boys franchise with its brand new spin-off called XO, Kitty, which follows the eponymous character from the original movies . . Production is expected to start in 2022.

In the 30-minute drama, Jenny Han and Sascha Rothchild star in showrunners. Hahn, whose books are based on To All the Boys, co-authored the pilot with author Siobhan Vivian.

In XO, Kitty, young console Kitty Song Covey thinks she knows all about love. But as she moves to the other side of the world to find her boyfriend at a distance, she quickly realizes that relationships are much more complicated when it comes to your heart.

Who gets elected in XO, Kitty?

As the title suggests, Anna Cathcart will repeat her role as cover for Kitty from To All the Boys. The character of Kitty, a theater thief from Cathcart, played a vital role in the films’ plot. In the first film, she gets letters written by Lara’s big sister (Lana Condor), a shy high school student, and secretly send them to the boys she’s fallen in love with, triggering all subsequent events.

We can reveal that there will be many new faces in this new spin-off.

Here are some of the characters we’ll be watching on XO, Kitty on Netflix:

Dae – a 17-year-old Korean who becomes friends with Kitty from a distance and is described as sweet and intelligent. It will be a regular series.
Mihee – a 17-year-old Korean identified as gay. She is described as the reigning bee at her former boarding school and the typical cool girl.
My Ho – Korean expatriate spent time in the UK, Australia, and the US and was described as beautiful and very confident.
D. – An African or Middle Eastern man identified as gay and described as extroverted.
Alex Park – Korean-American in his 20s and will serve as a chemistry teacher and international consultant in a Korean high school and a college.
Professor Li – a literature teacher in the forties or fifties
Gina Khan – the matriarch of the wealthy Khan family.

What is the production status of XO, Kitty?

The series first reported on the development in late March 2021, with Deadline reporting that Netflix saw the series.

XO, Kitty was officially confirmed in October 2021.

We can only reveal that the filming is expected to start on March 7, 2022, and end in May 2022.
