Temuera Morrison’s return to the Star Wars franchise in The Mandalorian season 2 was undeniably fantastic. Sure, there was a bit of a letdown as it was speculated that he played Captain Rex, but like Boba Fett, the actor proved to be perfect for the role of the seasoned bounty hunter.
Now, he looks set to have some busy years ahead of him. In addition to filming the spin-off series The Book of Boba Fett, Morrison is planning a couple of other big Disney + projects according to LRM Online.
The site doubles up on past reports that the actor will reprise his role as Commander Cody in the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi TV series. This makes sense because whether in flashbacks or the present day, the bond between the Jedi Master and Cody that formed during The Clone Wars would be hard to ignore. However, it’s worth noting that past reports have indicated that Darth Vader is hunting down his former friend-master with Cody and the 512th Legion at his side.
As soon as work on The Book of Boba Fett is done, Morrison is expected to travel to England to work on Obi-Wan Kenobi before returning to the United States for the third season of The Mandalorian.
