NCIS Hawaii turns into a scandalous soap opera for one episode

It is unknown what might happen to a particular episode of the NCIS franchise. From creepy pink teddy bears to a case of assault by a CIA agent to pretend to be a hijacked influence on social media and advocate mental illness, NCIS: Hawaii has kept fans busy. This week’s episode, Legacy, quickly became complicated. Yes, there was a victim, but even this episode was chaotic for the living. These included a billionaire, a divorce, a scandal, and a vengeful friend. The whole hour felt like a soap opera.

It all started when the Navy made the country sacred to the Hawaiians. During the ceremony, they found a body on the ground. Tennant’s team identified her as Kathy Laster, a leading member of World Works, a global back-to-nature group with extreme tendencies. Since the land was still technically owned by the Navy, NCIS took matters into its own hands. World Works had been protesting against a property owned by a billionaire last week, so Tennant’s team decided to investigate the matter.

The billionaire was Damien Davenport, owner of a technology company, and he was your rich man on television. Surrounded by security guards, staff and lawyers, he refused to speak and was generally difficult to understand. But during the interview with Tennant’s agents, his wife seemed suspicious, so they decided to investigate further.

After a hell of a cheat, Tennant’s team discovered that Kathy Laster was Damien’s daughter. Well, she was not publicly his daughter, and he was determined to keep her a secret because of her looks and the value of her business. As if that wasn’t complicated enough, Damien’s wife was not happy with him, and it was she who brought Kathy and World Works to Hawaii in the first place. He wanted a divorce, so he called Kathy for help. Unfortunately, someone killed her.

This is where the vengeful friend comes in. Mike Williams was the World Works frontman and friend of Kathy. He had caused trouble on several occasions when he went to Damien’s house to confront the billionaire and his wife for killing Kathy for keeping her quiet. Tennant and his team arrived to talk to Mike, as Damien was not the killer anyway.

At this point, Damien’s security guard, Mr. Tillman, Mike. There was no reason to shoot him, and that only confirmed what Tillman was. At first, he was not a suspect as he had a theft poster as an alibi. But Ernie eventually discovered that Tillman had tampered with the sign, met Kathy Laster, and killed her with a stone to “protect” her boss’s appearance. The rich man was an idiot, but it was not the killer. Either way, the whole episode was a more curvy and outrageous soap opera than anything else.
