Maya Lopez Echo the power and story of Hawkeye hero Alaqua Cox

Maya Lopez, also known as Echo, makes her Disney + Hawkeye series debut. She is remembered as one of the few deaf superheroes in Marvel Comics and one of the most important Native American superheroes. Daredevil # 9 (December 1999) was the first appearance of a cartoon, written by David Mack and drawn by Joe Quesada, and has had relationships with other characters, but is usually associated with Daredevil; However, she is now attached to Hawkeye thanks to her debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In the comics, Maya Lopez is the daughter of William “Crazy Horse” Lincoln, who served as executor of Wilson Fish, also known as Kingpin. Zahn McClarnon was cast in the role of William Lopez, suggesting that Disney + made the wise decision to ignore the character’s racial nickname. He never met his mother, who soon left because of his father’s criminal ties.

Maya was also born deaf and was sent to a particular school. Maya has proven that she is a talented pianist and dancer by perfectly imagining every movement when seen. Also, draw as a means of communication and learn sign language.

When Maya was nine, Kingpin ordered his father killed. When she was dying, he reached out to her and put a bloody imprint on her face that would have inspired some of her Echo outfits. She was then taken by Wilson Fish, who sent her to a school of miracles when he saw her photographic reconstruction in action. Maya performed as a dancer, wrote her dance piece for the act, and participated in the Special Olympics. She also trained with her senses tied in her hand for a time, so she was well trained in martial arts.

Ever since Fish Maya’s inception, she thought he was a good man and sent her to convince Daredevil / Matt Murdock of this. They then fell in love, and around the same time, Fisk approached Maya, claiming that Daredevil was the one who killed his father.

Heartbroken and angry, he decided to fight it. She had a date with Matt as herself, and then she became Echo for hating Daredevil. She eventually realized that Matt was Daredevil, and Fisk lied about his father’s murder when Matt was too young to commit the crime at the time. This inspired her to shoot Fish and embark on a self-realization journey that included crossing Wolverine.

Although she refused to cooperate with the New Avengers not to damage her reputation, Captain America recruited the Echo to fight the Silver Samurai and the Hand in Japan. He disguised them as Ronin, a disguise formerly used by Clint Barton. Eventually, Elektra killed Echo, but he was quickly revived, and his hand weighed. This brought him into conflict with the Avengers, but Dr. Strange cleared his mind and fought alongside the team.

There are many different ways to bring Marvel Maya / Echo into the story. She was attached to various characters previously seen in MCU, such as Daredevil and Kingpin. She could be easily associated with many others.

Wearing Alaqua Cox, also deaf and Indian, is a step in the right direction for the study. He joins Makkari, deaf in the movie Eternals, and Hawkeye, who has a hearing loss on his set. Following the events of Hawkeye Episode 2, it is preparing to become a welcome, meaningful, and exciting addition to the Disney + series.
