On Thursday, the financial situation of two private sector companies Airtel and Vodafone Idea has come to light, the Government’s concern has also increased.

In such a case, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has assured these companies and their crores of customers that the Government will not let them drown.

The Finance Ministry is trying to work out a solution to their problem with other related ministries.

According to Sitharaman, the Government wants to ensure that no telecom company operating in India is shut down and all move forward.

This statement of the Finance Minister is critical because a committee of secretaries has been constituted to advise the Government on the issue of telecom companies and provide relief to them.

The recommendations of this committee will be finalized within this fortnight.

On Thursday, Vodafone had reported a loss of Rs 50,922 crore and Airtel Rs 23,045 crore in the second quarter of the current financial year.

Two days ago, the CEO of Vodafone had even said that his position in India had reached there that now there is no other way to close the business with the company.

The recent financials of these two companies have raised new concerns about the country’s telecom sector.

Due to this, there is a possibility of the right of only one company in the industry.
