The wheel of time gives spoiled tomatoes a certified fresh note

Amazon’s TV adaptation of The Wheel of Time is releasing a new confirmed note on Rotten Tomatoes, right in the middle of the first season.

The official Rotten Tomatoes Twitter account released the update on the show’s current critique status, revealing that the play received positive reviews from critics in general. The update stated that The Wheel of Time had a rating of 85% on December 1 after 66 reviews. When Season 1, Episode 5 of “Blood Calls” aired, the average trauma score remained at 84%, with 80% of the average audience score.

Prime Video has previously confirmed that the show’s start is a significant blow to the platform. Commenting on the show’s performance, Jennifer Salke, director of Amazon Studios, said, “We can safely say that Wheel of Time was the first of the year’s most watched series and one of the top 5 Prime Video launches ever.” The show immediately made comparisons with HBO’s Game of Thrones. The previous fantasy’s conclusion annulled the fact that various studios were trying to fill it.

The 1st season of The Wheel of Time adapted mainly to the events of L’Eyeil du monde, the first volume of Robert Jordan’s series. Although the adaptation covered most of the main plot points in Jordan’s novel, she took some liberties with the source material. The show immediately established itself by adapting the story with the cast. It confirmed that most of the main characters would be older than their peers in the book. The background story has also changed, especially with the Dragon Reborn prophecies, adding further secrets to the character’s identity.

Fans who want to read the source material to see any changes in the series can now experience the first novel in audiobook form read by Rosamund Pike, the actress behind Moiraine. The first season is expected to listen to eight episodes, and Sergeant Rafe Judkins has previously stated that he will edit parts beyond the first book. The second season is already in the air. However, there will be some changes in the cast as it previously confirmed that Donal Finn would replace Barney Harris to play the role of Mat.

The first season of Wheel of Time is streamed on Prime Video, with new episodes every Friday. Sections can now be issued 1-5.
