The third episode of Hawkeye hit Disney + last night, and fans liked it as the most substantial release to date in the program. Filled with some of the funniest action sequences in the MCU (has anyone seen the arrival of Pym Arrow ?!), “Echoes” was not disappointed with Echo’s revelation of the story, with the discovery of rigged arrows by Clint Barton in the Arsenal and of course by the constant tearing up of the main opposition this season. With so much data left unanswered, fantasy theories have gone completely insane.
Episode 3 begins with a look at 2007 and young Maya Lopez / Echo (Alaqua Cox). It is immediately evident that Maya can read other people’s lips despite being deaf and wearing a prosthetic leg. Through her photographic memory and her ability to imitate, she can compete with children in their lessons. Do. Seo. He has a solid connection to his father (Zahn McClarnon). The latter clearly in episode 1 shows a parallel to the story of Kate Bishop. This causes Echo to embark on his revenge mission as Ronin kills his father. The new context around Echo is undoubtedly a foretaste of the coming consequences. Still, a piece in the puzzle was not so quickly revealed in this week’s episode.
uncle
At one point, about six minutes after the episode began, Maya’s father told her, “an uncle will take you home” after her karate class, just before another figure was in the room, as it was pretty significant and threatening. This “uncle” wears a pointed black dress decorated with similar cuffs, which can be seen when he strikes Maya’s cheek while she looks at him with great respect. This is the only physical vision of “Uncle,” but the deep laughter that follows is insurmountable. Wilson Fish has virtually entered the MCU.
As Hawkeye returns to the present after an incredible hunt with Clint and Kate, Echo and Kazi are seen speaking manfully in sign language. Kazi (Fra’s Fee) seems worried that his failed attempt to chase Ronin’s “uncle” will upset him. Kazi would like to say that his uncle would not be happy with them, which means that what his uncle wants holds him back. This implies that a person in charge of the Echo gives the orders and points to the logic of Kingpin as the protagonist. This is further illustrated by the mutual dialogue between Clint and Kate, where Clint gives her an insight into the tracksuit mafia. Explain that the person sitting at the top of the criminal hierarchy is “someone you do not want to mess with.” This person, whoever he was, started small but was ready for anything to grow and get a harvest. Who could be at the peak of the food chain in this criminal ring with ties to the Maya / Echo, which is currently based in New York besides … the king? Each character indicates Wilson Fish.
Why Kingpin?
Since the cancellation of Netflix’s Daredevil series, it’s been speculated that we might see an MCU crossover featuring Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) or other characters from the series, including Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio). Kingpin’s appearance in the fourth phase of the MCU expansion only makes sense based on the titles of upcoming Disney + Marvel releases. Echo, if he follows the Marvel Comics story and continues with what was mentioned in Hawkeye episode 3, Kingpin should highlight that he is a father figure in the original.
Another title fans love the She-Hulk series for 2022, which succeeds Bruce Banner’s cousin Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany). Like Matt Murdock with Daredevil, Jennifer is a lawyer. While they are not strong bands at all, the fact that both characters are in the same professional field allows Murdock to perform in She-Hulk not long after. Fans have long speculated that Murdock (Charlie Cox) could be seen as Peter Parker in Spider-Man: No Way Home. This, in turn, improves the chance of a boss. The next MCU title attached to the Daredevil universe seems like a big coincidence, especially if fans know anything about Marvel; it’s never a coincidence.
Possibilities
Kingpins’ half-revelation in Hawkeye opens Pandora’s Box of Possibilities in Phase 4. With so many branching links to upcoming Disney + Marvel titles, his final revelation is likely to be exploited for the fourth or fifth episode of Occhio. by Falco. With the Spider-Man: No Way Home premiere on December 17, it would make sense to save Wilson Fisk’s big revelation for the Hawkeye episode on December 15, especially if there’s a link to the movie. . Given Marvel’s close association with MCU movies, Marvel has no plans to expose a villain in two consecutive titles. At the very least, fans will have to wait until next week to get a true confirmation of Kingpins’ presence at MCU.
