Cowboy Bebop How [SPOILER] prepared for the second season

Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky IV – also known as Radical Edward – is a fan-favorite character from bebop cowboy anime, which is also the secret behind the live-action adaptation. While showrunner André Nemec has always teased Ed’s appearance in the Netflix series, fans are unsure if they will show up as Easter eggs or if they will show up. Now that Cowboy Bebop has made his season 1 debut, both are confirmed.

The radical Edward makes his “first appearance” in episode 6 of the live-action series “Binary Two-Step” when he receives a message from Jet Black about a gift for Dr. Send Londes – an essential character for Ed in the anime series. Although the episode does not detail how Jet and Ed met, it is suggested that Ed was one of the Jets’ informants, possibly because he was an ISSP officer. This is Ed’s only appearance until episode 10, “Supernova Symphony,” where they appear on screen, played by Eden Perkins.

The first season of Cowboy Bebop ends with a violent altercation between Jet Black and the series’ main character Spike Spiegel after learning about his previous relationship with Syndicate. For Jet, it’s worse to have Spike hide his past from him than a simple breach of trust. It’s a secret that puts her daughter Kimmie’s life in danger when Spike’s ex-boyfriend Vicious kidnaps the girl from his school to force Spike to meet her.

Jet works briefly with Spike to get his daughter back from Vicious, though it turns out to be a failed attempt that Vicious had predicted. The only way for the men and Kimmie to escape alive is the timely arrival of Faye Valentine. She manages to kill all of the Vicious’ henchmen and free the two men from their bond. Faye follows Jet and Kimmie to safety, but Spike stays behind to kill Vicious once and for all. Things do not go according to plan because the two men get hurt, and Julia is unfaithful to them both.

Unfortunately, Spike survives a fight with Vicious and Julia. Jet decides not to bring him back to bebop to save his daughter’s life. Unfortunately for Jet, Faye has also decided to break up, but not because of the quarrel between Spike and Jet. Instead, Faye searches for clues about her family and true identity.

With the three members of the Bebop family separated, now is the perfect time to introduce Ed to the series, as they will most likely be the characters holding the group together. Ed first shows up for Spike at the end of episode 10 with a job offer, though Spike is too far away to accept it. Since everything is going wrong in his life, he is far from motivated to continue being a bounty hunter. Still, Ed has not given up on him yet.

It’s unclear what role Ed will play in the second season of Cowboy Bebop, but there’s a good chance they will play a significant role in restoring Beboop’s life. Not only will they help Spike and Jet reunite, but they will likely be the key to Faye’s return, significantly since the latter helped her reunite with her childhood home in the anime film. In terms of storylines, season 2 will most likely adopt an episode of anime that focuses on Ed and may even help the team deal with Julia, who now runs Syndicate.
