The last episode of The World Beyond is in the books, and it mainly ended well. I May still use some characters in upcoming shows like the Fear the Walking Dead or the Rick Grimes movies, but the series answered no big, horrible questions. So up to the post-credit scene, which showed a development that could replace the face of The Walking Dead.
Across the years, there have been almost eleven seasons of The Walking Dead and some side effects. During this time, zombies got all kinds of names. “Roamer,” “Beißer,” and “Voids” are some examples, but “Walker” was the most widely used and widely accepted term. Honestly, it makes sense to call zombies the “Walkers” that best describe them. But after the World Beyond post-credits scene, the name may no longer apply. Here’s what’s happening.
Around France, a scientist walks into a biomedical laboratory, transfers files from external hard drives to his laptop, and begins watching a video. I surprised everyone, Dr. Jenner, the CDC researcher from the first season of The Walking Dead. Suddenly there is someone in the room with the scientist and what he does and says is very important.
The man said the scientist and his colleagues started it all and then worsened things. She knows she’s in trouble, but she’s not moving and says she’s tired of running. Suddenly he dropped it in his back, and we quickly understood what he meant. A few seconds later, the scientist wakes up again, gets up and starts tumbling, and then runs after the man who shot him.
In the video seen by the doctor, Dr. Jenner talks about a so-called “variable cohort” and has never seen anything like it in America. So maybe Sagittarius is right; The researcher’s team may have accidentally made things worse in their search for a cure. An obvious result of their work is that the dead who previously could only walk can now walk.
In general, the scene has nothing to do with the afterlife, making it misplaced. There is no coherence in the background, and Dr. Jenner is the only connection to the universe. However, there may be a connection. If France is CRM’s secret city, it’s probably Rick Grimes. When his movies finally come out, they can be sent abroad, where zombies are much more dangerous as they can run and fight. There is yet a high way to go from certification. Still, it would be a waste to introduce a new type of walker – perhaps “runner” is the best word – without plans to use it in a future scenario.
