Suicide Squad Director James Gunn applied for the T.D.K. by Nathan Fillion. The end of the film survived and returned to a future project within the D.C. Expanded Universe.
“# T.D.K. was definitely live the last time we saw it,” Gunn wrote in response to Twitter user Charlie Rengel. In his original post, Rengel shared a GIF character of Fillion, writing, “There’s a theory that T.D.K. is still alive, and I’m sure many people would love to see Nathan Fillion again.”
In Gunnar’s The Suicide Squad, “The Detachable Kid” was shown as a member of Task Force X’s “B-Team” inserted as a diversion. At the same time, I noticed Corto Maltese’s other side. Especially fans will remember that he was hit and lost a lot of blood during the hunt with Corto Maltese’s troops, T.D.K.
Although he initially believed the character did not survive the attack, Gunn had previously responded with rumors that T.D.K. was a trapdoor after the movie was released. “It’s important to note that if you do not look at the signs of life in the communications center, T.D.K. is not dead,” Gunn confirmed at a Twitter evening show for the film in August. Fillion intervened at the time, tweeting, “I noticed strongly when I saw him in the theater. I apologize again for the inconvenience.”
Gunn and Fillion went on to discuss T.D.K.’s status during the Watch Party, where Gunn once stated, “… You look alive and well when you look at the monitors.” Of course, you’re still alive during the credits, and we’ll see you too. They know you’re spitting blood. It may not be an excellent place to be health-conscious, but you are not dead. You breathe. ”
It is not sure at this time whether and when T.D.K. Back at DCEU, a new trailer for Gunn’s upcoming Peacemaker series revealed that a Peacemaker member (John Cena) from Task Force X is busy. In addition to showcasing Peacemaker’s extensive collection of helmets, the new trailer highlights the character’s intense relationship with his father, as well as his continuing ethical difficulties. Former Harry Potter Freddie Stroma played Adrian Chase / Vigilante and Robert Patrick as Peacemaker’s father, Auggie Smith, and the recurring characters John Economos (Steve Agee) and Emilia Harcourt (Jennifer Holland).
Written and directed by Gunn, The Suicide Squad is now available on DVD, Blu-ray, and Digital H.D. It returns to HBO Max on December 23eacemaker will make its debut on Jan January 13 on the streaming platform.
