A deleted scene from Shang-Chi and Marvel’s Legend of the Ten Rings has revealed that the Razor Fist is initially supposed to die.
In the scene published by IGN, Florian Munteanus Razor Fist can be seen greeting the terrified Katy of Awkwafina during the last fight of the film in Ta Lo. When Katie tells her, “I’m a Richmond officer. What the hell am I doing here? In which Razor Fist says: “And I’m a crippled Romanian who should not even be here.
“He then sacrifices himself to give Katy enough time to grab a bow before being captured and killed by one of the Soul Eaters. The deleted scene is also incomplete, with the green screen and early effects still visible and unused in the last movie clip of the film.
Before the release of Shang-Chi in theaters, Munteanu expected scenes from the Razor Fist that did not reach the final cut of the film but would be available as bonus content in the Blu-ray release.
“We had the grand finale and you would have seen a little more of the Razor Fist there [initially],” he said, without giving further details at this point.
“I can’t wait for people to see him because there was a reason he replaced his blade with a dragon sword and fought with two swords, but I do not want to spoil much and I do not want to say much. . ”
Razor Fist, who performed on the Shang-Chi bush fight at the beginning of the film, appeared on the scene after being credited with Xialing when he took control of the Ten Rings after his father’s death.
