Masters Of The Air is the latest installment in the Band Of Brothers war drama series. It arrives on Apple TV+ with a cast that includes American stars Austin Butler, Nate Mann, and Freddy Carter and a host of young British talent including Callum Turner, Raff Law, Tommy Jessop, and Anthony Boyle. After directing the James Bond film No Time To Die, Cary Fukunaga has embarked on this ten-part series of the last year of World War II.
In the base of book Masters Of The Air: America’s Bomber Who Attacked the Air War Against Nazi Germany by Donald L. Miller, this wartime epic chronicles the actions of the 8th Air Force, the U.S. Army’s elite unit, in bombing Berlin, Hanover, Leipzig and Dresden and destroying enemy targets such as railroads and oil refineries while allegedly engaged in aerial combat at 25,000 feet. The missions were dangerous and produced many heroes.
