Netflix has confirmed that its upcoming mystery-horror series Dead-End Job will premiere globally. The announcement arrived alongside the first teaser trailer and poster for the eight-episode production, which explores the lethal consequences of accepting high-paying part-time work involving supernatural hazards.
The series centers on a staffing agency, a mysterious organization that offers high-paying jobs. However, these lucrative positions require workers to survive life-threatening phenomena.

High Stakes and Supernatural Hazards
The newly released teaser trailer provides a first look at Lee Jae-wook in the role of Hyuk-jun, a debt-ridden man who turns to the staffing agency out of desperation. The footage showcases the eerie atmosphere of his assignments. The accompanying poster depicts a bloodied Hyuk-jun, emphasizing the physical toll of his “perfect job.”
As Hyuk-jun navigates these nightmares, he is joined by other key figures in the agency’s orbit. Kim Min-ha portrays his sister, Ji-yoon, while Lee Hee-jun takes on the role of the agency’s enigmatic boss, known only as Mr. S. Go Min-si also stars as Yeon-joo, an investigator attempting to uncover the truth behind the agency’s strange operations and the disappearances linked to its job postings.
Production and Festival Premiere
Before its global streaming launch, the series is scheduled for a prestigious debut at the 31st Busan International Film Festival (BIFF). The first four episodes will screen in the festival’s “On Screen” section on October 7, 2026, giving audiences an early look at the project’s blend of social commentary and supernatural horror.
Known during production by the working title Ggoolalba (translated as “Sweet Part-Time Job”), the series has evolved into an 8-episode exploration of the literal price of survival in a volatile economy.
All eight episodes of Dead-End Job are scheduled to drop simultaneously on Netflix, ensuring the full mystery is available for viewers.
