Netflix’s South Korean slate for November 2026 is anchored by high-profile award contenders and cross-border thrillers. As the platform transitions into the year-end awards season, the upcoming schedule highlights a shift toward prestige cinema alongside its traditional serialized dramas.
The centerpiece of the month is Lee Chang-dong’s Possible Love, which is scheduled for a global streaming release on November 6, 2026. The film arrives on the service with significant critical momentum after winning the Silver Lion (Grand Jury Prize) at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival. It has also been selected as South Korea’s official submission for the Best International Feature Film category at the 99th Academy Awards.

For audiences in the United States, the film will have a limited theatrical run starting October 23, roughly two weeks before it joins the Netflix library. The production marks a major return for director Lee, whose work often explores complex human relationships and societal tensions.
Thrills and Cross-Border Collaborations
Following the cinematic debut of Possible Love, the crime-thriller series Blue Road is expected to premiere later in the month. Starring Son Suk-ku and Japanese actor Eita Nagayama, the series is a rare South Korean-Japanese co-production. While Netflix has confirmed the title for a November window, industry reports suggest a likely launch date around November 20.
In addition to these new premieres, two series that debuted in October will continue their runs throughout the month:
- Doctor X: This medical noir will air its concluding episodes through the first half of November.
- 100 Days of Deception: The historical spy drama, which follows a complex web of political intrigue, is set to air its final chapters weekly across the November schedule.
Winter Outlook and Schedule Shifts
Viewers tracking the 2026 K-drama calendar should note that Dead-End Job, starring Lee Jae-wook and Go Min-si, will not be a November “new” release, as it is scheduled to drop its full eight-episode season on October 30. This positioning allows the high-energy action series to serve as a lead-in to the more somber prestige titles arriving in November.
Expectations for Tantara (also known as Show Business), the highly anticipated collaboration between Song Hye-kyo and Gong Yoo, have also been clarified. While early rumors suggested a potential late-November arrival, the series is now officially scheduled to debut on December 11, 2026. According to data from the Korean Film Council, these year-end slots are increasingly being used to maximize global viewership during the peak winter holiday season.
