Avengers: Endgame recently added a video of Black Widow’s death where it rather shows Hawkeye’s end instead. Avengers: Endgame had become the highest-grossing movie of all time.

Black Widow and Hawkeye have always been as close to each other, more like a family. After one fight for the sacrifice, Natasha gains the upper hand and falls to her death. The fans were upset about her death, as she was the only female avenger.
Scriptwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely shed some light on their decision on Natasha’s demise, adding that it served as a resolution for Black Widow’s arc. A significant part of Natasha’s arc is that after years of thinking she didn’t belong anywhere in the world, she found someone she can family with at the end. According to McFeely, her death was ‘worth it to her.’
Several women on the crew expressed their disagreement over this decision. “Hey, we think maybe Hawkeye goes over. Don’t you do that! Don’t rob her of this!” Although it would have been an entirely different conversation if Hawkey pushed her aside and would have fallen instead. Scarlett’s death had been one of the most controversial subjects about the cessation of Endgame.
