The October 2026 lineup features a mix of racing, supernatural survival, and voxel-based action.

Sony has officially announced the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup for October 2026, featuring a mix of high-speed racing, supernatural extraction shooting, and voxel-based action. Starting Tuesday, October 6, subscribers across all tiers—Essential, Extra, and Premium—can add F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896, and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 to their libraries.

The October collection will remain available for members to claim until Monday, November 2, 2026.

Platform Requirements and Compatibility

A notable shift in this month’s lineup is the heavy focus on current-generation hardware. Two of the three featured titles are exclusive to the PlayStation 5, marking a significant move away from the cross-generation support that has defined the service for several years.

  • F1 25 (PS5): The latest entry in the official Formula One series offers updated rosters and physics, but is only available to those on PS5 hardware.
  • Hunt: Showdown 1896 (PS5): This updated version of the competitive extraction shooter requires the power of the PS5 to handle its updated engine and environmental fidelity.
  • Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 (PS4, PS5): The only title this month offering native support for the PlayStation 4, this voxel-style spin-off continues the series’ tradition of over-the-top bug-squashing action.

Seasonal ‘HorrorFest’ Bonus Bundles

To coincide with the Halloween season, Sony is introducing a series of “HorrorFest” item bundles for popular live-service titles. These packs are available to PlayStation Plus members in addition to the monthly games and include specific cosmetic items and currency.

The PlayStation.Blog confirmed that a Call of Duty: Warzone bundle will be available starting October 1, followed by the Overwatch 2 Dragur Reinhardt pack on October 7.

Last Chance for September Games

The arrival of the October lineup means time is running out to secure the current selection. Subscribers have until Monday, October 5, to claim the September 2026 games:

  • Sniper Elite: Resistance
  • MLB The Show 26
  • Wobbly Life
  • Chained Echoes

Once these titles are added to a user’s library, they remain accessible as long as the user maintains an active PlayStation Plus subscription. If a subscription lapses, access to these games is suspended until the membership is renewed.
