The “MomTok” phenomenon is expanding to the West Coast as the reality franchise moves into California. Following the high-profile success of its flagship series, “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County” will bring the social media-driven drama of the community to a new setting, featuring a mix of crossover stars and major influencer additions.
The new spinoff follows the original Utah-based series.
The most significant link between the two series is the casting of Jen Affleck, an original series star who is moving from the Utah group to join the Orange County cast. This crossover anchors the new series within the established “MomTok” universe.
The California cast introduces several prominent influencers to the franchise, including Bobbi Althoff, Aspyn Ovard, Avery Woods, and Madison Bontempo. The lineup is further expanded with Ashleigh Pease, Jordan McClanahan, and Salomé Andrea. These women represent a new chapter of the viral community, aiming to build their own version of the social media collective that defined the original series.
The production also maintains a familial connection to the founding members of the movement. Among the new cast members is McCall DaPron, who is the sister of original series star Mayci Neeley, providing a direct personal tie between the Utah and Orange County groups.
