Fans of Syfy’s genre-bending hits can find some of the network’s most popular library titles on the free, ad-supported streaming service Tubi. The cult classic supernatural Western series Wynonna Earp and the 2003 reimagined Battlestar Galactica are both currently available on the platform.
All four seasons of the original Wynonna Earp series, which originally aired on Syfy for four seasons from 2016 to 2021, are available on the service.
While the flagship series is available for streaming, the franchise’s newest installment remains secure on the platform. The 2024 special Wynonna Earp: Vengeance is a Tubi Original. Because the special was produced specifically for the platform, it is not currently listed for removal and is expected to remain available for free streaming.
This availability reflects a broader trend within the streaming industry. During a strategic pivot throughout 2023 and 2024, many major media companies began licensing “prestige” library content to free platforms to maximize ad revenue and reach new audiences. As licensing contracts approach their end dates, viewers often see a shift as these genre staples either move to paid subscription models or cycle through different free providers.
