Adele has announced a residency in Las Vegas with weekend performances starting in the new year.
The singer will perform on Friday and Saturday nights in the Colosseum theater of the Caesars Palace Hotel from January 21 to April 16, 2022.
The British star will be taking a weekend off in mid-February.
Fans will need to register for presale access before December 3 for a chance to secure weekend tickets with Adele.
Tickets will then be available for purchase starting from 7 December.
Adele will also take the stage as part of the BST Hyde Park festival in London on July 1st and 2nd.
Last week, Adele’s new album, 30, became the best-selling album of 2021 in its first week of release.
Who else has made a residency in Las Vegas?
The famous Colosseum theater has 4,300 seats and has hosted the likes of Celine Dion, Sir Elton John, Madonna, Mariah Carey and Rod Stewart.
Dion and Sir Elton both completed two residencies there, with Dion performing over 1,000 times at the venue.
Usher is the current “resident” of the Colosseum and will end his term in early January.
Highly profitable residences – especially long-term ones – can bring in millions of dollars to musicians with merchandise sales also adding to the pot.
Britney Spears had a four-year residency in Las Vegas – from 2013 to 2017 – but in a different location, Axis at Planet Hollywood.
The singer, who was recently released from her custody, said she only dated twice during that time.
Lady Gaga’s Enigma show aired from December 2018 to May 2020 at The Park MGM. She returned for a series of jazz shows last month.
