Taylor Hanson and professional partner Britt Stewart were eliminated from Dancing With The Stars during the competition’s Week 3 “Yacht Rock Night,” marking the season’s fourth departure. The exit came as a surprise to many viewers, as Hanson and Stewart were not the lowest-scoring couple on the leaderboard at the time of their elimination.

The evening was defined by a significant shift at the top of the standings. Figure skater Amber Glenn and partner Pasha Pashkov delivered a breakout performance that earned them a 24/30 from the judges. This score included the first 8s awarded in Season 35, moving the pair into a tie for first place. Joining them at the top of the leaderboard were Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson, who also secured a 24/30 for their routine.
The “Yacht Rock Night” theme saw the remaining couples performing to classic soft-rock staples. Featured tracks included Toto’s “Hold the Line” and Hall and Oates’ “I Can’t Go for That (No Can Do).”
While the top of the leaderboard saw high marks, other contestants struggled to find their footing. Guillermo Rodriguez and Witney Carson finished the night at the bottom of the judge’s scorecard, receiving a total of 15/30. Despite this low score, Rodriguez survived the elimination round, which ultimately saw Hanson and Stewart sent home.
Hanson’s departure follows a string of early-season exits. He is the fourth celebrity to be eliminated in Season 35, following the previous departures of Conner Leavitt, Sarah Jane Nader, and Giada De Laurentiis. As the competition moves into its fourth week, the remaining field continues to narrow, with Glenn and Shum Jr. currently established as the frontrunners to watch.
