The Resident Evil series on Netflix Everything We need to Know

The live-action series Resident Evil is coming to Netflix in 2022. After several years of speculation, we have confirmed that the series is underway and that the recordings in 2021 will last. Here’s your first look at Resident Evil on Netflix and what? We can expect.

Resident Evil is Netflix’s next original series based on Capcom’s game of the same name. The franchise was launched in 1996 and has spawned many popular video games, novels, and movie sequences.

Netflix seems to be busy with Resident Evil with this live-action series and at least two animation projects, the first of which is Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness, which came out on Netflix in July 2021.

Netflix has not released anything official about the live-action series until August 27, 2020. So the first details about the old NXonNetflix account have been removed.

We know from the script released by NXonNetflix in August 2020 that episode 1 is called “Welcome to Raccoon’s New City,” written by Andrew Dabb and directed by Bronwen Hughes (The Walking Dead).

Andrew Dabb directs the series. His previous credits include Supernatural for The CW. This triggered the initial concern over the tone of the first season, but it’s too early to say at this point.

Before we dive into it, here’s your first look at Resident Evil in the form of a first look at Doberman zombies, as well as two images in the form of a stylized version of the dog in the new “teaser and logo” series.

The series was first reported in January 2019 by the deadline. Here’s what was said about the story in the next Resident Evil series;

“The drama series will explore the dark gear of Umbrella Corporation and the new world order created by the T-Virus outbreak. While the project is still in its early stages, the series is expected to cover all the defining characteristics of Resident Evil character …” including action sequences and Easter eggs. ”

In early 2020, Netflix’s media site listed an official description of the series’ history (though that page has been deleted). Then it says in the report:

The city of Clearfield in Maryland has long been overrun by three independent giants: the Umbrella Company, the disused Greenwood Asylum, and Washington, DC. Today, discovered 26 years after the virus, the three revealed their first secrets about the symptoms of the epidemic. . ”

As far as we know, the story takes place on two timelines.

The first is sisters Jade and 14-year-old Billie Wesker moving to Raccoon New City. They realize that their father may be hiding dark secrets that could ruin the world.

The second timeline plays out more than a decade into the future, leaving only 15 million people with over 6 billion animals and people infected with the T virus.
