Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood will miss this weekend’s show after testing positive at Covid.
Hopefully, Revel Horwood, 56, will return for the next episode, a spokesperson for Strictly said.
Celebrities Tom Fletcher and Judi Love also both missed a show after testing positive for the coronavirus.
Revel Horwood is the only judge to have been a part of every Strictly series and is known for his high standards and not holding back his opinion.
A spokesperson for Strictly said, “Craig Revel Horwood tested positive for Covid-19 and is now self-isolating following the latest government guidelines. Even though Craig will not take part in Strictly Come Dancing this weekend, if all goes well. well will come back the following. week. ”
Australian-born Revel Horwood is known for his West End performances and choreography, but he’ll be missing Strictly’s Musical Week this year.
At the start of It Takes Two on Monday night on BBC Two, host Rylan wished Revel Horwood the best, saying, “We are sending you all our love and looking forward to seeing you, very soon.”

It wasn’t just Covid that caused problems in this Strictly series, with celebrities having to miss the shows for other health reasons as well.
Peep Show actor Robert Webb, who had open heart surgery two years ago, withdrew from the competition for health reasons, while rugby player Ugo Monye missed an episode with a back injury.
There are still seven pairs left in the race after Dragon’s Den star Sara Davies was sent off over the weekend.
That show also saw EastEnders actress Rose Ayling-Ellis, the first deaf contestant in show history, and her dance partner Giovanni Pernice praised for paying tribute to the deaf community.
During their performance the music was transformed into muffled noise and silence as the couple continued to dance.
The judges awarded a near-perfect combined score of 39 out of 40, with Head Judge Shirley Ballas calling the dance “absolutely beautiful”.
Percussionist Dame Evelyn Glennie described Ayling-Ellis as a “wonderful model”, while former Strictly contestant and Invictus Games medalist JJ Chalmers said it was an “absolute triumph”.
