Grant Gustin appears as Reverse Flash in new images from the Flash series’ “Armageddon” event.
Released by The CW, new images from The Flash season 8, episode 4, “Armageddon Part 4” star Gustin played the role of Reverse-Flash against his arch-enemy Eobard Thawne as The Flash (played by Tom Cavanagh). In part four of The Flash’s “Armageddon” event, Gustin’s Reverse-Flash participates in an epic battle with The Flash and Team Flash alongside guest stars Javicia Leslie, Sentinel with Chyler Leigh, and Ryan Choi from Osric Chau. The fourth of “Armageddon” airs on December 7 on The CW.
The CW previously indicated that Eobard Thawne would return in “Armageddon, Part 4”, stating that Thawne would return “in the most unexpected way and with a connection to love,” according to Damien Darhks’ (Neal McDonough) team of characters. She promised in August this year.
“So at the finish of last season, a reverse glimpse: he’s a pretty clean guy,” Flash showman Eric Wallace said when he returned. “Why? Because Flash is faster now. If there’s a question answers’ Armageddon, ” Well, if you can not run away from your enemy, what do you do to chase him? Eobard Thawne starts’ Armageddon ” This is the question for him. That question is answered in season 8 strangely and unexpectedly.
In an earlier interview, Wallace stated that “Armageddon” is unlike any previous Arrowverse cross. On the one hand, according to Wallace, “Armageddon” will not see a time when 20 heroes and villains will fight at once “, both because the ongoing coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) has made it dangerous and because Wallace has made it dangerous. It’s clear that Armageddon is not a crossroads at all, but “a special five-part Flash event, that is, a Flash story, a slightly larger, slightly weaker Flash graphic novel.”
In “Armageddon,” Barry Allen and the rest of Team Flash meet the telepathic alien Despero (Tony Curran). While not a crossroads, there are many characters from other Arrowverse series, including Jefferson Pierce / Black Lightning (Cress Williams), Ryan Wilder / Batwoman (Leslie), Mia Smoak / Green Arrow (Katherine McNamara), Ray Palmer / Atom (Brandon Routh) and Ryan Choi (Chau), who appeared in “Crisis on Infinite Earths.”
